Showers of blessings!

Dear brothers and sisters,

Greetings to you in His name!

Yesterday while brother Bill Fudge and I wrestled with a piece of Calzone we were talking about the blessings of God. The conversation led us to think about the song that asks us to “count our blessings and name them one by one …”. I told brother Bill that I tried, but failed because God has blessed me in so many ways that cannot count them all. That does not mean I am not counting them. I just know that when I count them, many of them will slip from my mind at the moment.

Let me illustrate what I mean. Since I arrived in the United States on March 10th, I have visited six churches. In most of those instances several churches meet together because my brothers and sisters here want to hear what God is doing in Haiti and they came to encourage me. They are all blessings. I have met so many wonderful brothers and sisters. I have received a royal welcome everywhere.

Thanks particulary to these people who welcomed us into their homes: Zane and Margareth Mulbery, Jim and Darlene Williams, Paul and Ola Belle Parrish, Randy and Crystal Carroll and I am writing from the home of Bill and Dr. Sarah Fudge.

Thanks to all those who fed us in their homes or in a fancy restaurant. Thanks to all of you. Thanks to all those who commit themselves to help Living Water in many ways. Thanks be to God for all of you.

God continues to work His wonders among us at Living Water and people are more and more motivated to pray for the construction of the church. There are also those who are working toward getting all the estimates ready for the radio station. And on top of that the second floor of the Dining Hall was poured last Saturday.

Thanks to Kenai Christian Church who made the lower level possible and to many other brothers and sisters. Thanks to Miamitown crews who arrived to get us back to work to the point that now the roof is a reality.

You see, I really can count my blessings. I will try to do it on a daily basis, but each time I will leave a lot of things out. Praise be to My God, Our God.

Please continue to pray for the following projects:

  • Church construction
  • Clinic construction
  • Radio station
  • Church plant in Bazil
  • Our leadership
