Living Water Christian Mission

At first we thought that we would be ready to move on the construction of the second floor in April. But today as I am typing, all the laying of blocks on the second floor is done. When I went this morning for a visit they had 300 blocks left to lay. I say 300 at best. They not only finished laying the blocks, but have moved into doing the framing to tie the blocks and the columns. We praise God for that here.

I want to send a special thank you to everyone who contributed so we could move as fast as we have been. May God bless you for us. We still have a lot of work to do before completing the construction, but I celebrate what my great God through His children have done.

We will need funds to continue with it. We will need funds for the roof of the second floor — By the way, how do you like our ladder? (See photo1). Would it be approved in the USA? I know the answer. We will need funds for the flooring, the finishing touches on the wall, the doors, the windows, etc. We pray that our God will continue to bless this effort so that by the end of this coming Summer we can start using the building in order to provide healthcare to a needy people.

I have included five photos showing the pouring of the concrete roof, laying blocks for the inside walls and the joyful visit of my wife and Dr. Dan, my brother. Gine (my wife) has dreamed about clinic for a long, long time, it is fulfilling for me to see that her dream is about to become a reality — really it is a reality. Enjoy all the photos.

While our amazing God is doing amazing things Satan is always trying to eclipse God’s great things. I told you that our choir director was in a terrible accident and he is still in terrible pain. The day after the 9th anniversary I learned that two of our cell groups are facing tough challenges. We had to have a long meeting Tuesday night and another long meeting Wednesday night. Again this morning I received some disturbing phone calls, but God is in control, I will continue to trust that He will provide a solution to this problem because He is able to solve all problems. He will calm the storm and silence the sea. 0

Moreover around noon today we’ve heard a noise that shook our building. The students thought it was another earthquake and they rushed down stairs. As a result we have two students who got hurt physically. Besides that this event brings back unwanted memories.

What happened was a wire from the city power to our electric meter broke (How, we don’t know). The broken/exploding wire caused many computers to explode. They have already detected 20 burnt computers. They will continue with the assessment tomorrow. We beg for your prayers.
