Reasons to Praise God!!!

Dear brothers and sisters,

Greetings to you in the name of Our Great God and Savior Jesus Christ.

We have so many reasons to praise God that we could use a whole book just to list them. Even then the list would not be complete because we have reasons to praise God that we are not even aware of.

Some of the wonders that God has done for us are unknown to us. Perhaps when we are in heaven we will know them. Satan wages war for our soul daily, and we have very little or no knowledge at all of what God has done daily on our behalf to keep us alive.

Tremendous Progress on the Health Clinic

One of the reasons we have to praise God at Living Water is the reception and the progress of our baby church at White Mountain. Over 80 people were in service on Sunday August 19. They had half of that last Sunday, which was a good crowd for them because of the threat of Hurricane Isaac. We had 351 here – again a good crowd for that day.

Only the bold and those who don’t want to miss their Sunday would more likely go to church in a similar day. We praise God for the Leadership at White Mountain and their passion to serve God by serving His people there.

We also praise God for the progress made last week at the clinic. The four team members from Cincinnati were used by God to complete the wiring in the clinic. They installed all the light fixtures and completed the electric work. The only thing left to be done is to bring a power source and connect it. They even brought 50 lamps with them and we will need 30 at the clinic.

We also thank God for the work of the other workers. They poured the concrete floor. The only thing left is laying the tiles. It looks very good. The outside is completed.

We hope that funds continue for finishing and painting the outside walls. I wish I had a team coming in a few days to do the painting job. It would save us a bundle. The painting job will be costly both to buy the paint and to pay the workers. The only painter we have at Living Water is too old for the job. Pray for us. We are closer to the finish line, yet there are a lot of things that need to be done before the opening day which is in October.

Hurricane Isaac has done more damage in the country than we can afford. It killed 24 people. We have 3 missing and another 42 reported injured. Many animals are dead,. Farms are destroyed. Roofs of homes and building gone. In spite of all of those losses we praise God. Gonaives was spared from the hurricane.

Of the 24 people killed, one died in Gonaives of electrocution. A power line fell and killed the young soul. Living Water is completely safe. No one suffered damage among us. We praise God for that.

The third picture was taken in Port-au-Prince when we were on our way to the airport with our missionaries. We praise God that their flight made it back to the United States. True, it was delayed, but they made it out safely.

Thanks to all of you for your prayers, your messages and your phone calls. They ministered to all of us and to me in particular. It is much fun to have you by our side.

We love you very much. May God bless America for our sake and for the sake of the rest of the world for that matter.

In Christ,
Salonique Adolphe and team
