Shout Praises to the Lord

Dear brothers and sisters,

Greetings to you in the name of Our Lord Jesus!

Our lives are filled with challenges. Some of us face so much. We may wonder if there is another person on earth facing as much. Others may even go as far as questioning God’s love for them. Yet, no matter what our circumstances, we can still shout praises to the Lord. We can choose to see the better sign, the sign of sunshine, the sign of birds flying while singing unto the Lord.

Satan has been attacking us like crazy. But having a thriving youth group who wants to please the Lord and engage in service to others is a heart warming thing to experience. Last Monday the youth group chose to go to the home of one of our widows to serve. They went to do any kind of chores that she might have to do. They collected their own offering. They will cook a meal chosen by the widow. They will buy everything and cook for her and her sick son (mental illness).

The widow chose “lalo”. It is a famous herb that we like to eat, much like what Americans call “greens or spinach”. They fixed the meal from scratch. They worked on her home. They did laundry for her, not in a washing machine, but by hand. They had her tell them old stories. They had a blast. You see, things like that made the day of that lady. It is worthy to shout praises to the Lord for that.

I told you about some of the baptisms we had at White Mountain. The second picture includes the first fruits of the work there. Praise God for that. They have a week-long revival that will conclude tomorrow. I got to preach there last Thursday night. They continue to make progress in many aspect of the Christian life.

Guest House Moving Forward

Guest House Moving Forward

As we are getting ready to host larger groups the guest house has become more of a necessity. Brother Roy and his wife have made a donation which has made it possible for us to put the roof on. Some of that gift was used for the health clinic. The roof was poured last Friday. Hopefully we will have the rooms available to be used before the closing of the year. With the Guest House we will be able to house a lot more people. Teams with a small number of people will have a lot of space at their disposal. So let us rejoice together. The Apostle Paul has advised us to rejoice always. Let us do it while shouting praise to the King of kings.

In Christ,
Salonique Adolphe and team
