God’s People Worshipping Jesus

To HIM Be the Glory

Dear brothers and sisters,

Greetings to all of you in the name of JESUS!

I thank God for all His wonders during the last couple of weeks. A Central Christian College team was here and they have done, as usual, a formidable job. But in the process one of their passports was mysteriously lost at my house. I give all the glory and honor to God for the efficiency of the American Government in giving our team leader another passport before her returning time. She was able to travel with the whole team and was not “left behind.’ Her attitude about the whole thing was amazing!

Then we had an amazing week of worship and teaching under Luke’s leadership. I have always known him to be a wonderful teacher. He has some amazing planning skills that are being developed as well. The whole week was concluded with an interview like show on the resurrection. People were allowed to ask whatever questions they had about the resurrection. It was a fun and a Spirit-filled moment. Since his return home Luke has lightened my load. He has reduced my stress and has done amazing work in his areas of strength, particularly in teaching and evangelism.

Everyone was blessed by the worship services every evening and the teaching. People grew in their faith because of that.

We had a wonderful service on Resurrection Sunday. We had over 50 young people who joined us in worship from the area of Port-de-Paix. They used our campus for a retreat and stayed for Resurrection Sunday. Worship service went well. A men’s choir and the youth choir from Port-de-Paix sang. There were great communion and offering meditations. The preacher did his best to elevate Jesus in the message. Again, all the glory and honor be unto God and unto the lamb who was slain.

We had very little progress on the construction at White Mountain this week. However we had giant progress on the construction of the transitional church building. As of yesterday many classrooms were already stuccoed. The eastern wall of the lower floor of the church is also done. The building is taking shape. It is a lot of fun to watch. Our God deserves our glory and our praise. There is some progress in the construction of the school of Marmelade as well. This coming week, we anticipate amazing progress thanks to brother J. Mitchel and his team.

I will soon go to Port-au-Prince to welcome the arrival of a medical team from Whitewater Crossing (Cincinnati). There will be five in the team. Please pray for an amazing week for them and for our people.

Let us continue to give HIM all praise, glory and honor forever and ever.

In Christ,

Salonique and team
