Forever KING of kings!

Dear brothers and sisters,

Greetings to you in the name of the KING of kings, He loves us with an eternal love!

The first thing that I want to say to all of you is thank you! I have never doubted your love for me, my family, and the ministry of Living Water. Yet, during these times of trials, tribulations, and troubles, you have proven yourselves even more. Trust me. This conviction makes it easier to face the challenges of every single day. Thank you for the phone calls, the text messages via messenger or WhatsApp, your emails, and the handwritten notes sent to Brian who always kindly sends them to us. The messages powerfully convict me that I have a great band of brothers and sisters with me in this battle.

I want you to know that by the grace of God, we continue to commit ourselves to train future leaders and workers for the future transformation of Haiti to the glory of God. I know you are concerned for my safety, the safety of my family, and Living Water people and blessings. We are concerned too. However, God has been doing such a great job of keeping us safe. It is just amazing. I want to assure you that I will not make any careless moves, yet the way the situation is right now, only God can spare us from the worst. Only God! Thankfully, He is forever KING of kings, the only All Knowing King, He knows what to do in every single circumstance. Let us continue to trust Him, for He is Good! He does everything beyond excellence!

I want you to know that the threats are many. The bandits have threatened to kidnap school students. They have thrown rocks and glass bottles on the school campus in Gonaives. They have caught the bus that we use to transport teachers and staff to Highland every morning, with the teachers and staff onboard. But, thankfully they have neither kidnapped the people nor destroyed the tires, which they do almost every time to catch a big vehicle. They only used it to block HWY 1. We praise God because a group of policemen came a couple hours later and freed the bus. We were able to return to Gonaives safe and sound. We have not had classes since these events.

I am sorry to inform you that I will not be able to come to USA as many of you had wished and hoped for. And as I had wished and hoped for as well. I wanted a break from this caustic and stressful environment. But obviously God has something else in mind. He might have allowed Satan to push the envelop. I will not come because the US embassy has not renewed my visa. So my dream to have a whole month of November with biscuits and gravy, mom’s ham sandwich, strawberries, Rita Olman’s Cinnamon rolls, Pat Croll’s sautéed asparagus, and all my friends’ apple cobbler with a scoop of vanilla ice-cream. Yes, my mouth is watering writing all of this. Really, most of all, I will miss your hugs, our conversations, and fellowship times. I will miss not being at ICOM. I will miss being around my sons and mom.

I want you to know that despite the various mountains of hurdles, the gospel is being preached daily either in the pulpit, or via the radio station, or Facebook and YouTube. People are growing in their relationship with Christ. Students are being trained for community service and ministry. The construction of the orphanage building continues. New decisions are being made to continue to improve our schools and our students. Patients are being cared for daily at the health clinic. More ministers associated with Living Water are getting the approval of the government to continue to do the job of our Lord Jesus. More importantly, more souls are being baptized, thus won for Christ. Satan cannot stop, for Jesus is forever the All powerful KING of kings!

We count on you! We continue to beg you for your prayers. We continue to request your financial support so that we can move forward despite all the challenges.

Yours in the name of the One who is forever KING of kings,

Salonique Adolphe and team
