Worship on Sunday

Thanks for the progress

Dear beloved brothers and sisters,

Greetings to all of you in the name of Jesus Christ, Our Lord!

As I am writing it is 10 PM and the sun is very bright outside, because I am in Alaska for two weeks of camp. Alaska remains one of the most beautiful states in the Union. The grandeur of its mountains, the wildlife, the ocean, the forests, the lakes and of course the fish join together to witness that this world could not be here by random chance. I praise God for such convincing proof for intelligent design.

I have completed a first week of camp. I had some of the best highschoolers. May God bless them and may He guide them the rest of their lives.

While I am here, the work goes on in Haiti. Our diligent workers continue to work. Consequently they had a great service last Sunday in Gonaives. The Church in Marmelade is having two weeks of revival. The preachers are all students in the Bible College. They are there to support brother Ezechiel and to preach and lead worship for those two weeks. They enjoy that. They are very glad to see that the Church they started almost four months ago is already running over 100 people on Sunday. They feel special because God allows them to be part of HIS great plan.

Since Ezechiel left, Monexant has stepped in to filled the empty spot. He loves it and gives himself to it. For several months he was just doing it with joy and pleasure, without receiving anything from Living Water. The elders and I decided to bring him on board full time as our present evangelism minister. It is amazing to remember that when he walked on campus 6 years ago, he was not even a Christian yet. But once he came to Jesus he gave HIM all. Praise God! Praise God for the initial efforts of bro. Elson to make him a son of God.

The work goes on in the construction side of things. The rebuilding of the wall has started this week. The preparation work by the brothers and sister Juanita of AIM makes it easier for us to start rebuilding this week. In the meantime, the workers continue with the work of putting stucco on the school buildings to make them closer to being finished.

I thank God for all the progress we make, especially in such a difficult time. I also thank all of you who give toward Living Water in spite of the financial distress that is spreading all over the world. My friends, my brothers and my sisters thanks for the progress. The progress is actually your progress. We could not even begin to imagine to tackle those jobs without your sacrificial gifts. Again thank you.

We continue to beg for your prayers as we are replacing and adding staff members. Brother Lucner is actually our accountant. We had to shift him from being the liason between the sponsors and the children. We have just found a young man to put in the liason position. He will start in September, though we want to start training him this month. We now have sister Guerline Hyppolite as the school secretary. We also have professor Julien as the head of the elementary school. The work is getting too big for our Principal brother Pierre Edouard Fevrier, so we moved professor Julien up and we will replace him. There are other changes that we will announce soon.

We are grateful to God for His many blessings. In your prayers, please ask God to guide us and to give us wisdom to make decisions that are pleasing to HIM.

We love you.

His and Yours,

Salonique Adolphe
