The Work of God

Dear brothers and sisters,

Greetings to you in the name of Our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ!

We have a big and active God. He is still working today in every corner of the world. He is busy here in Gonaives through Living Water as well.

God has used brother Bill Fudge, Joe Green and many other people to donate a Bobcat to Living Water. Jude has learned how to operate the Bobcat from Bill and has been able to use it to clean the campus of Living Water.

God has also worked in many families, Churches, Sunday school classes and individuals to bring joy and hope to many children. These boys and girls are receiving a quality education at Living Water Christian School, thanks to those who sposor a child.

Patricia, one of our grade school girls, received a box from her sponsor. Can you tell that she is a happy girl? Can you tell if the boys in the pictures are having fun? These children are on the ball. They will be used by God to bring about changes in this country. God is training them for that.

Some of our students have already turned their lives to Christ. One girl came to us today to tell us she wants to end her relationship with Voodoo, but she is afraid of her dad. She is in the 12th grade.

A 7th grader confided to Jean Gilles and Monexant how she wants to live her life for Christ. Monexant and Jean Gilles prayed for her.

God is working through the Church here. The week before we had 527 in attendance. Yesterday we had 569 people. We had 311 form the first service, 68 in the second service and 190 in Junior worship. A young man, whose dad and an older brother committed to Christ a few months ago, came to Christ. His dad was very happy with his decision.

We thank God for the brothers and sisters at Mount Vernon Christian Church. They donated a water pump and we have made good use of it. It saves time, money and hassle. We would need 35 bucks every day to rent one. We have it, brand new from our beloved brothers and sisters. Thanks to you all and may God bless you for that. Jude appreciates the water pump very much.

I am doing very well. It is true that there are lots of challenges ahead of us with the school. As of now we cannot tell exactly how many students we will have in total. Last week we had 511 students and there were several dozen of them who were not in school yet.

Pray for the staff and the teachers so that they can influence these young souls for Christ’s glory. God is at work and thank you for letting Him use You to perform His task.

In Him,

Salonique Adolphe
