Forward it is!

Dear brothers and sisters,

Greetings to you all in the name of Jesus!

If everything goes as scheduled, in one hour Haiti will have a new president. The grand majority of Haitians are looking forward to the event. One of the least expected candidates to win the election is actually welcome by the vast majority of the population, including me. We pray he continues to value Jesus. We pray that he reaches the point where he confesses openly Jesus as His Savior and His Lord. We are certainly marching forward.

The last three Sundays, we have had consistently over 700 people in attendance. Last Sunday we had 732. This means that we need to continue to work seriously on the building project. It is also evident that we need a transitional place of worship. What? How? We hope to figure that out in the next 48 hours. We have brother Bill Fudge here with us. We are going to think through those details. Pray for us. We want you to stick with us in the battle, because we only plan to go forward!

This Monday, as Living Water continues to go forward, we will celebrate the 8th anniversary of the school. We will have a thanksgiving service outside. We plan to start the service at 5 PM. We will thank God for His bountiful provision in the past and will ask Him to help us going forward. There are a number of activities this weekend. Last night, we had a basketball game with another Christian school. We are pleased to report that we won. This afternoon it is the championship game for the between grades competition. It will put face to face 12 and 13th graders. They brag about the fact that it is the upper classmen that are in the final, contrary to last year. We will see who will raise the trophy.

We continue to multiply our meetings for the church construction. Three of the five pictures testify to that. We beg your prayers, your support and your visit.
With God’s power, guidance and help we will move forward! Will it be easy? We know it will not. Will Satan give up to let us move forward without further challenges. If that happened it would be a first in the history of the universe. Nevertheless we will move forward with Christ our Champion.
