Answer to Prayers

Answer to Prayers

Finally, the “chain” is broken

Dearest friends,

As I write this it is only a quarter past ten in the evening. Today was filled with events in cascade most of the time. Some times several things were going on at the same time. It was quite busy. Through it all I was mindful of one thing: The “chain” preventing the construction of the school at White Mountain is broken.

A Sudden Breakdown

A Sudden Breakdown

Last Wednesday the team from Forum/Liberty was here. Several of us held hands and asked God to provide a company to do the excavating. I was in Port-au-Prince Friday when a friend told me of a company who would do it. At the time I thought very little about it. I thought it might be still another company who will not keep their word. I was wrong because the prayers were already answered.

I met with the men on Saturday morning at 8. They agreed to work for us for the sum of 350 USD a day. I paid them and they were on site at 10 AM working. Today he has completed two full days of excavating. Tim, Julie, Max, Caroline, Amy, and all the rest of the team members prayed with us for the specific reason of finding someone to do the work. Praise God for answering all our prayers.

We met with a number of obstacles since we prayed over the land and for the construction of the school. The bandits came, but they did not stay long and didn’t even come to our property. The second obstacle was they sent corrupted policemen to bother us but they did not stay either. The third problem was the excavation equipment broke down. Thanks be to God it was back in service 90 minutes later.

I am sending these photos to you. I hope you can get a sense of what is taking place.

Blessings to all of you.

In Christ,

Sal
