Continuous Growth of the Church of Highland

To this Very Day

Dear brothers and sisters,

Greetings to you all in the name of Our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ!

While thinking about this newsletter great memories have overtaken me. Consequently my heart is filled with gratitude to a lot of people: partners and teammates, some of whom I have not had the privilege to meet on this side of heaven yet. Nevertheless they have positively impacted me and Living Water, thus Haiti.

I have to say looking back at the last 15-20 years, we do serve an amazing God. He does not rest as some might have wrongfully thought. He is always at work. For performing a healing on the Sabbath (He has done so on purpose on multiple occasions), the Jews had issues with Jesus and really wanted to kill him for doing so. They were furious because it was supposed to be a day of rest. Jesus said to them, “My Father is always at his work to this very day and I too am working.

Let see, I started classes in Central Christian College of the Bible in the Spring of 1998. My brother started classes also at Central in the Spring in 2008. As I am writing my son Marc is completing his first Semester also at Central, 10 years following the first semester his uncle started at Central.

To this very Day my heavenly Father continues to work using an army of generous people from all over the States and in the last 15 years God has used them to do wonders here and this to this very day.

The New Church launched back in November 2017, just a few months ago. It has 159 people in worship just recently. People are turning to Christ. The voodoo village is now the platform for a growing congregation and a growing school.

The radio station has blessed thousands every day and is on the air 24h/day. People are now calling from 6 different states testifying what a blessing it is. We have been in the home of people who have decided to give up voodoo or occult because of preaching on the radio. One minister requested a meeting with me over the issue of the necessity of baptism for salvation after hearing a message that I had preached and had left the meeting baffled by ignoring all those years such clear teaching. The list goes on.

Over a thousand kids are being educated in the way of the Lord every day. Sick people have their health restored. In some cases they got back not just their physical health, but also their spiritual health. Right at his office Dr. Dan has introduced many to Christ.

Marmelade is growing and we need more space. White Mountain is crying louder and louder for more space. Young professionals are getting higher education so they can serve in greater capacity.

The planning for the launching of the orphanage is going well. All of these things and more are the work of my Father. He is working to this very day.

Well my friends, He is working using you. Today My brother Luke and I have about 20 Bible College students in front of us daily. These giants are in training for ministry or are already in ministry. But how would I be able to do that without the influence of giants from Central Christian College of the Bible, men like Gareth Reese, Lloyd Pelfrey, Bob Stacy, Bill Walton, oh yes Dan Schantz to name a few. I am grateful to God also for Dr. Tom Thatcher of Cincinnati Christian University. All these men know how to put scholarship, mindset of service and humility together for Kingdom advancement. I am very grateful to them.

Anyone who walks to one of our campuses today cannot ignore the power of God. He has been working since 2002 to establish them and He is working to this very day using His sons and daughters all over the States. He has used the Meyers to do wonderful things here and they are worthy of the fact that the school at Highland carrying their names. They have not been in good health for a while now. I do beg you to pray for them for us. Our God is able.

I thank God for the Crocketts, the Crolls, the Hinkles, for OHP, for IAMM, for IDES, for KCC in Alaska, for CFM, for the Steinkes (IN), McDaniels (OK). Really my friends there is no way I can name 0.1% of the names. And, I knew nothing about any of these wonderful people twenty years ago.

I am asking you pray that the number of teammates can increase as our daily and monthly expenses are increasing considerably and is a serious concern for us. Yet, we know Our God works in amazing ways.

Pray for the completion of the wells.

Pray for the project of the orphanage, for the project of the University and for continuous healthy growth of our churches and schools.

I have included a few pictures of the different aspect of the ministry. I think they are described well enough for you to know what they are about. Hope you are encouraged by them.

To the Jews who thought God was resting, Jesus said: “My Father is always at his work to this very day, and I too am working.” (John 5:17, NIV)

Yours and His,
Salonique Adolphe and team
