A brief update
Dear brothers and sisters,
Greetings, my dear friends, in the name of Jesus!
It is very windy here and the weather is not that friendly. I hesitate to describe our weather because you would think it was good. It is around 70 degrees and it feels cold to us. I know it is not cold for you, but it is for us. (Normal temperatures are closer to 90.) Even worse though is the dust that the wind tirelessly blows into even the inner parts of our homes.
I am writing to tell you that the cafeteria continues to serve our students and workers at Living Water. Gine, my wife, and her crew continues to do a commendable job. The students continue to testify how they appreciate it.
I want to thank all of you who sent gifts to the kids that you sponsor. There are so many that I could send a picture of a different child with his gifts, maybe for the rest of the year. Many sponsors sent something good to their kids.
Today Jacques Rena’s parents stoped by my office to say how much they appreciated the gifts that Rena received. Her mother said, “How does Anne (Jacques’ sponsor) know the exact size of my boy? All the clothes fit him perfectly.” The testimonies are many. Henrice Onalson’s buddies think that he is one of the luckiest boys because in every shipment he always receives something from his sponsor. My friends, brothers and sisters, thank you for providing hope for the children. Thank you for giving selflessly to provide for the education of hundreds. Your reward will be great.
“Not by might, nor by power, but by my Spirit, says the Lord Almighty.” … “The hands of Zerubbabel have laid the fundation of this temple, his hands will also complete it.” (Zech 4:6, 9)
