Your financial support for Living Water Christian Mission is greatly appreciated and will help the work of our Lord in one of the poorest countries in the western hemisphere. The mission helps feed hundreds of people physically, mentally and spiritually.

In 2008 floods from Hurricane Hannah destroyed many homes and most of the few possessions that the people had. The city continues to suffer from frequent flooding. Any amount you can donate will directly help.

Construction of roof for school expansionHis Work!

Dear brothers and sisters,

Greetings to you in the name of Our God and Savior, JESUS OF NAZARETH.

These days I have a very crazy schedule. Since I came back from my visit to the US I hardly have time to breath. Several things are at the root of that. We are in a transition stage in several areas.

Supports for new roofWe have a helper who has already left for Ecuador. One of our workers will be leaving soon, but I don't know exactly when. One person is leaving our staff to give more time to her family. She is torn by the decision, but I admire her family commitment. We have other people who are considering moves as well. So, I have to deal with these matters. But this is His work, He will provide the workers to accomplish it the way He wants and for His glory.

Another cause of my busyness is that I am somewhat over committed these days, but I am changing this. Since I came back I have been in Port-au-Prince to attend a wonderful conference on restavek (child slavery). It was time well spent. I have been in Marmelade visiting our second Church.

Cafeteria staff: God's servantsI have been in Dessalines helping out one of our vital members. Jude, our builder and an elder of the Church and his wife have prematurely lost their second child. Micah and I were with them the whole time. Please pray for them, because Myrlande has not gotten over that yet. In spite of all his problems Jude continues to work everyday trying to get the concrete roof poured on the second floor of the second school building. He has done all of these things as God's servant. That is His work, He supplies us with those dedicated workers.

When we started laying the block for the second school building we wondered how we would be able to afford the roof. But God has sent us one of His most generous servants to provide the money. In two week, at the most, we will have the roof poured. That is unbelievable! That is His work, He has provided.

Anthony and Winsten: Hard workersHe has also provided great and dedicated ladies to work at the cafeteria in order to feed the kids. I am including a picture of them.

He has also blessed us this Summer with Mark Anthony and Winsten. They are two hard workers who have proof of their hard work with blistered hands. They work in any area we ask them. We are happy with both of them. That is His work, He provides.

We thank Him for giving you to us, He has done that because Living Water is His work. We thank you for all you do: your prayers, your giving and your encouraging notes. Thanks again.

Please pray that we will be able to rebuild the wall around the school property this summer. This is a very important project because the floods destroyed the wall last year.

Praise Him with us. There were 500 people in worship service here in Gonaives last Sunday and we had 105 in Marmelade. God is wonderful. He makes His work grow.

Yours in Him,

Salonique Adolphe
