Living Water Survives Earthquake

Dear brothers and sisters,

(Gonaives, where Living Water is located, is 85 miles north of Port-au-Prince where most of the earthquake damage occurred on January 12, 2010)

We are safe here in Gonaives because we received only a small part  of the earthquake.  But my heart is broken because a huge portion of Port-au-Prince, the capital of Haiti, is  devastated. The national palace is utterly destroyed. Most of the government buildings are destroyed. A lot of houses are destroyed. We don’t even know yet, if we still have a President. The Catholic Church building in Port-au-Prince is devastated. Highschool, hospital and many other companies are destroyed.

This is a terrible, terrible thing that happened to us.

I will keep giving updates as I have more information. Digicell, the cellphone company that I used is down because its headquater has collapsed as well.

We need your prayers.

In Christ,

Salonique Adolphe
