The following is from Salonique, dated June 10, 2008.
Greetings to you in the name of Our Great God and Savior, Jesus Christ. In a little over two weeks we have completed the wall around the future church property. The wall is about 10 feet tall, 900+ feet long and 150 feet wide. We are amazed at what God has done. Others are also amazed. Hearing people’s comments, we say, “Glory to the Highest.”
I want to thank all of you who have prayed for the wall to built. My gratitude is from the depth of my heart. I thank those who gave so that we could realize the project. The debt we have will not hinder us to enjoy such a blessing. He will provide. Yesterday, we received an additional 2500 USD so that we can start paying off the debts. I thank the two people who have sent this money, our good friends Janet Farmer and Bill and Sara Fudge were used in the occasion.
I want to thank, in particular, our brothers and sisters of Kenai and Tok Alaska. They have given most of the money we needed for the project. The elders of the Church in Kenai and the mission team together with brother Bob DeVolld have collected the funds for the purchase of this property. Thanks to our dear friends Lucas and Melissa Hulien and Jason and Julie Carroll for making great sacrifice to help us in making the first payment on the land. Thank you, thank you and thank you! We also thank Kathy and Jon Reese for their consistent financial contribution. God has used them many times to bless us. Our dear friends Gardner and Angel Sorrell family. Wow! They have been God’s instruments in many ways for Living Water.
Below you will find several pictures to give you a good feel of what the wall looks like. We have a total of three gates for the whole thing. We have two on the main street in front (a small and a big one) and a big one in the south side of the land. The gates are being made at the present and they promised to give them to us, not this weekend, but the next.
Please continue to pray so that God may provide the remaining funds that we need to pay off the debt.
