Dear brothers and sisters,
Greetings to you in the name of Our Great God: JESUS!
I pray that this message finds you in the humble spirit of relying on God every single day. He is the only guarantee that we have. Whether friends or loved ones want it or not, we need them sometime and they are nowhere to be found. But God is always with us. So it is in our best interest to rely on God. He is dependable.
The last couple of weeks, I have been in a number of places visiting with friends and supporting churches. My travel has taken me to Memphis (MO), Vandalia (MO), Brooklyn/Madison, IA and several other different places. I thank the Millers, the Frankes, the DeVilders, the Langs and everyone who have made those stops so enjoyable. I was blessed with friends, food, fun and funds. We praise God for that.
I want you to know that progress continues on the health clinic. The concrete roof has not been poured yet, but talking to brother Jude, he is very confident it will be done this weekend. After that task we will still have several others. We will need to stucco the building as a finishing touch to smooth the walls. There is still flooring, doors, windows, electrical wiring, plumbing and painting to name a few. We have done a lot of work, and lots of work yet to be done.
We thank God for those who make the feeding program possible. We are making a big difference in the lives of hundreds. In the pictures you will see unloaded bags of rice and beans to put in the storage. Everytime the storage is low, my wife and her team members make sure that provisions are available. Of course without the generous gifts of our supporters we could not have done a thing.
The work of the church continues. Our leaders on the field continue to work hard to make things happen. In the fifth picture, you will see one of the things that we always do in every service: scripture reading. We like to have everybody read together the text chosen by the reader.
In spite of our big loss at the computer lab a few months ago, it continues to be used to teach women and men computer skills. What some people learn later in life we teach to our students in the school. You can observe that the lab is full of students working on computers. Again nothing like that could be possible without you.
We thank all of you for your prayers and financial support. May the Lord pour out His blessings on you. He is trustworthy. Not only you can rely on Him, you can also count on Him for the accomplishment of His promises.
In Christ,
Salonique Adolphe and team
