Working for a Better Future!

Dear brothers and sisters,

Greetings to you in HIS name!!!

Thru the years many people have partnered with us in preparing the future leaders of the churches here and of Haiti. Some of those young people are now working in the church in different capacities. We are already anticipating that some day they will have political influence when they can lead the country to a better future.

Christian Jean Baptiste, the president of the Youth Association, is one of our graduates (2 years ago). He has incredible leadership skills. He can work in a team in incredible ways. I could name other men like Djharlens Alexis. They were all sponsored thu high school at Living Water by simple, Christlike people like Jean Parker. It is amazing what love for others can do. The future of those young men and women have changed for the best for ever.

Still in the business of working for a better future, we have a team of men and women who are doing an incredible job with the kids and the teenagers. They spend quality time with them. Mrs. Jean Gilles and Mrs. Jude work more with the girls and Jackson and Junior and others work more with the boys. They have led many to Christ.

Today many of them are already involved in song leading, preaching, etc. I was pleased last Sunday to see my own son Mark playing piano for the children’s worship service. Such good influence is a blessing.

Thanks to all of you who make things like that possible. You may wonder how you did that? Well, to build the building they are using we had to have supporters like you to provide the funds. Some people worked on the wiring. Just last June a team painted, giving a nice look to the sanctuary. Because you give we are able to pay salaries of the paid staff. You are just doing great for God. Let us continue to prepare a better future for God.

In the second photo they were in their week of camp. It was a fun time for them and an opportunity to have them for a week to play and focus on training. I spent three wonderful days with them. I was blessed.

It brings smiles to see the health clinic now. I was there just this morning. It is already a blessing. As you can already guess, by building this we are working for a better future of many. It means a better future for the employees and their family. It means a better future for all the people who will be blessed there as we will provide care. Thousands will live in a much better situation because of the existence of this health clinic. I praise my God for all those who make it possible.

The village church is doing wonderful. Their growth is very encouraging. They are anticipated over 200 students in their school next year. Pray for the challenges, which come with that.

White Mountain Church is doing well. They had 74 in service last Sunday. They continue to be doing well. Here we observed lower attendance than usual. Some say it is because school has not opened yet. Others say the rain or other circumstances, yet we were blessed to worship with 600 last Sunday.

We wholeheartedly thank you for being such great teammates. Together, we will prepare a better future for many for here and there.
