Thank You
Brothers and sisters,
We were more than 3500 people, mostly brothers and sisters, who came to celebrate the wonders and the victories of God on our behalf in the last 10 years. It was a great crowd. Yet some of the people whom we wish could be there were not.
We did not have the presence of any brothers from Miamitown. There were other people who are dear to us who could not make it though at first they were thinking about it. We miss very much our friends Fran B. and David/Lori S. We know for a fact that they wish they could be with us. Thanks so much to all of you.
To all those 30 American brothers and sisters who were there to celebrate with us “Thank you!” Special thanks to Emile L., Paul P., Stephanie M., Cassie I., Brandson B., mom and dad Green and to Brother Bob Stacy for two great messages two Sundays in a row.God has done great things for us during those 10 years. One of them is that He gave you to Living Water as a partner. He holds us up during all our tough times. And you, you have stood by us whether it is during political upheaval, or deadly hurricanes, or the big famine that the people have named chlorox, or during the earthquake, or cholera and the list goes on. We thank you for making it much easier for us to go.
We thank God for the friends and churches that He has given us to partner with in spreading the gospel. They are in Alaska, Missouri, Ohio, Indiana, Illinois, Iowa, Arkansas, Wisconsin, Minnesota, and Oklahoma, to name just a few. They have given selflessly and generously for the growth of Living Water.
Consequently hundreds of people have given their lives to Jesus. Hundreds of students are receiving a quality education. Hundreds have already received good health care. Beautiful facilities have been built in order to respectfully serve our people. God-sized plans are being made to continue to serve our people in the areas that we are already serving, but also in other areas as well.
I am thinking about those who were little kids when they started to give (Andrew Hardee, Cody Graves, John Atlas, the Belzer and Darling girls etc.) – I am thinking about little kids at Miamitown Church of Christ, Timberlake Christian Church, Mount Vernon Church of Christ, Riverside Christian Church who gave in VBS, the kids in the after school program at Timberlake to name just a handful. They have brought brought smiles to Jesus’ face.
I am thinking about those adults who give though they have dire needs. To all of you thank you, thank you, thank you. If you were not here to celebrate with us you missed out on some wonderful Spirit-filled music from our different choirs and from our people. Brother Bob Stacy preached a wonderful message out of Ephesians 4, dad Fred Green gave the communion meditation. We had a great fellowship meal afterward. In the evening we had another nice service, though the sound system and a little rain prior to the service caused some trouble. All was done very nice and very well. We praise Our JESUS for that.
Brothers and sisters, thank you and may God bless you!
In Christ
