Dear brothers and sisters,

I praise My God for all of you. You have made it a weekend of hope for many. We have shared funds that you sent to about 30 families today. One of our brothers showed up at the house and explained to me that his mother is fainting from hunger. He also had a cut on the bottom of his foot. Gine (wife of Salonique) gave him an antibiotic and pain killer. I gave him some money and he went on his way filled with joy. The man told me “God will see us through”. He will for sure.

The list of damaged and destroyed houses of people at Living Water keeps growing. I am including two pictures of damaged and destroyed houses. The first one belongs to one of the Elders of Living Water Christian Church, Brother Louis Jean Gilles. He is an authentic pastor who takes good care of the sheep. The second one belongs to Sister Steker, a widow and mother of three. Her house is the one with only the tin left. The last picture of this group is the campus with a view of the Junior Church, the cafeteria under construction and the school (Building 1). We will have to clean 2 acres of land that is covered in mud and dirt 2-3 feet deep.

Many of you have commented about our strength to carry on. If we are strong now we were not strong at the beginning. We became strong because you prayed and you cheered us up. We love you with all our hearts.

In Christ,

Salonique and Rosemond
