Dear brothers and sisters,
Greetings, I pray that this message finds you doing well.
Very few of us would like to work or walk with quitters. Paul did not like the fact that young John Mark left them at Pamphylia during the First Missionary Journey. Barnabas said forget that. Paul said no way. Good thing the story does not end there. In second Timothy Paul praised Mark and asked Tim to bring him along during what was more likely Tim’s last visit to Paul before finishing the race. He kept the Faith to the Fullness. Quitters don’t.
This week a very dear person in my life finished her race. It was not necessarily an easy one for her. There was pain at several junctions on the way. But she made the best of each one of them, to the best of my knowledge. The pain on the way did not prevent her from living a rich life.
She reared two wonderful daughters. She served several churches and Bible Colleges. She trained people both in the US and abroad. She invested her life in many, many young people. She helped many to overcome their own obstacles. She Lived the Faith to the Fullness.I am referred to my beloved sister Regina Green. She is home, communing with her earthly dad, a child that had gone before her, and the rest of the saints from all over the world. I think she has started enjoying a painless and stress free eternity.
She had more troubles than a lot of people who quit, but she would not. She kept the Faith.
One of my adopted sons was complaining earlier about how many people register in Living Water’s English class, but don’t come. And there are those who start and then quit. Being his first experience, Elie was having a long day complaining about that.
I told him, when teaching language or music, you will discover that if you end the class with 20% of those who started you do good. The reason is not everyone will want to pay the price to work until the end.
The first photo shows some students who are still in the race. The second is of one of the six brand new Christians who have started the race this week. They are all members of White Mountain Church. The Last photo contains a bunch of believers who are at different point in the race. My prayer is that they all cross the finish line. My pray is that they will continue to live the Faith to the Fullness. The Bible says, “Be faithful unto death and you shall receive the crown of life.” Let us strive together toward this end.
Please pray for the Green family.
Please pray for the project of the church construction.
Please give thanks to God for those who have already shared their early blessing with us by supporting this project.
Remember to eliminate all excuses possible so you can be in worship service Sunday morning.
In Christ,
Salonique Adolphe
