Dear brothers and Sisters,
Greetings to all of you in the name of Our Lord and Savior: Jesus Christ!
This week is a very special week in our history as a church family. We are digging dirt one shovel at a time in the process of putting the foundation of the transitional church building. As I am writing this, a lot of guys are very busy cutting re-bars of different sizes in order to get ready to put them in place by Monday morning, next week. That is a physical aspect of building.
In the meantime, many brothers and sisters are busying themselves going door to doors sharing the gospel with unbelievers and going to believers to encourage them to stay faithful to Christ. That was what a group of brothers and sisters did last night in the neighborhood of Jubilee, near Raboteau in the South West side of the city.
As a result of this kind of work, coupled with preaching and teaching the Word, last weekend sister Suze, alongside 13 other brothers and sisters, became a child of God. God is enlarging His Church. The Church is moving forward and thankfully more than two thousand years later, Jesus’ words remain true: “The gates of Hades shall not prevail against it.” As the builder of the Church, He knows that the work that He has done should last eternally and that’s what is happening. To welcome more new brothers and sisters, as most of you know, we are building a new church building. It is better to say God is building a new church building. Some have already given sacrificially toward the project. Others are praying about it. Our prayer is that you will be moved to give for this project to be completed in a record time.
A special thanks to all churches and individuals who have already given to this project. What we have been able to do so far would not be possible without your donations. Thanks so much and may God bless you for our sake.Jesus said: “I will build my Church.” Yet His tools are you and me. Let Him use us for HIS glory.
In Christ,
Salonique Adolphe and team
