Only God Could Do it
Dear Fellow Teammates,
Greetings to you in the name of Jesus, Our mighty Savior and Lord.
I thank My God for connecting me with all my wonderful friends. I arrived in the USA Saturday night, May 2nd. My friend Nathan Hart met me at the airport and I stayed with him, his wife Kelly and their girls. It was a joy to see their children changing heights, just like mine. I got the privilege to worship with the brothers and sisters of Connection Christian Church in Saint Louis, where brother Bryan Fakes is the minister. It was a great service, led by wonderful people and attended by amazing brothers and sisters. I praise God for their zeal for Christ and for their eagerness in fulfilling the Great Commission. Only God could have made the arrangement to be speaking there in such a short notice. May the Lord continue to lead His Church.
Am I suggesting that we don’t have challenges? Absolutely not! We paid last months salaries early this week. Why? Because we did not have sufficient funds to pay it the last Friday of April and we don’t know yet if we will be able to pay on time this month. I pray the Lord will intervene as usual.
My wife battles with her deteriorating knee issues. Satan is working hard to sink my boat, but thank God, my God is able. So my friends, these few ugly trees should not prevent us from seeing the beauty of the forest with its beautiful and nice flowers, okay!
This week, in fact today, Living Water Christian School is celebrating her 12th anniversary. They had the thanksgiving service last night. I remember that we started with 17 kids and finished the first year with 15 students. I see the student body has grown to be 600 traditional students plus 250 returning adults students on our first campus. There are an additional 250 plus students in the school of Marmelade. Allow me to brag, only my God could do it. We have already graduated six classes. Some of our former students are now returning as teachers and staff members. Please give me a chance to say: “Only my God could do it.” When I remember the multiple attacks of Satan on the student body; their growth in Christ in the process and see that, while the enemy meant to break us, is actually “makes” us, I give glory to My mighty God. Last night I was not able to be in the service at Living Water physically, but I thought back on the years and remembered what God has done.We started the construction of the transitional church building when we had only 5,000 USD. That was back in August 2013. Now, almost two years later, God has already invested more than 150,000 dollars in the project. I give glory to My God because Only He could have done it.
I am in Moberly, MO now at mom Jan Green’s home. I am leaving in just a few hours heading to Vandalia. I will be worshiping with the brothers and sisters there tomorrow, Lord willing. Pray for us. Pray for a wonderful Lord’s Day there and also where you will be.
Remember my teammates, if you still have breath, praise the Lord. Only He could have made that possible for YOU.In Christ,
Salonique Adolphe and team
