The final Step on the Stuccoing of the Outside Transitional Church Building

The final Step on the Stuccoing of the Outside Transitional Church Building

His Gifts!!!

Dear brothers and sisters,

Good morning my friends! Well, by saying “good morning” I see the world through my own glasses. For  my friends in Alaska it is also morning. But it will take them a few more hours before thinking about waking up. In fact the night owls there may still be doing yesterday’s stuff. My friends in Australia, such as Robyn, are in the deep night looking at another day. My friends in France have just finished their lunch. Those in other parts of the world have just finished their supper. So I need to stick with my traditional greetings. Whether it is morning, afternoon or night, another hour or another day is God’s gift to us. So enjoy it while being grateful.

Stuccoing of Classrooms, Almost Completed

Stuccoing of Classrooms, Almost Completed

God has given all of us many gifts. Some we value. Others we don’t. In fact we tend to value the temporal more than the eternal. I say this because I hear or read more praises directed toward God for His temporal blessings than for the eternal ones.

Before you think I am an exception, take a look at many of my past newsletters. Wait a minute. You don’t have to go that far. Just read the next few paragraphs and you will find that I am not an exception.

More Progress on the Farm

More Progress on the Farm

Why do we do this? If I wanted to plead your case and mine, I would probably say that we value the temporal blessings because they are visible and they tell the unbelievers and new Christians what our God can do. And, while our spiritual blessings are more important, people outside the faith, and many in the faith, have a hard time grasping them.

The enemies of Jesus were not going to be impressed too much by Jesus saying to the sick person, “your sins are forgiven (LK 5:20),” but they were shocked by the healing. The healing removes their excuses if they don’t believe in the forgiveness Jesus pronounced.

Look at a few of His gifts to Living Water these last few days or years.

  • The transitional church building is progressing amazingly well. I have included two photos for you to see.
  • Since the last newsletter a lot more work has been done on the farm. In one day about 60 people worked to foster that progress.
  • The First Graduating Class of Our Seminary

I-68 (Isaiah 6:8), formerly called AIM4Jesus, came with 6 hard workers (Tammie, Carole, Richard, Juanita, Ethan and Josh). Since they arrived almost two weeks ago they have not stopped painting. They completed all the first level of the school, the north wall of the school campus and today they will attack the second level of the school. They are all His gifts to us.
  • Sunday night was a big first in the history of Living Water. The Christian Biblical Seminary of the Caribbean, a training center of Kingdom servants, graduated 8 first quality workers. We are proud of them and they are His gifts to Haiti, the Caribbean and why not the world.
