Dear partners in the gospel,
Greetings to you all in the name of Our Great God and Savior, Jesus!
We serve the God whose expertise is in “the building business.” The writer of Hebrews calls Him “The builder of everything,” (Hebrews3:4). Let’s earnestly pray that the list of His children continues to grow. Let’s engage ourselves in sharing Christ so that more might come to be HIS. We, who are His children, are looking forward to being in that city whose architect and builder is HIM.
He enjoys building. Granted some of us are not the easiest terrain to work with. In some cases He needed to do a lot of excavating. Others of us were a piece of cake for Him. Whatever our situation, He does not give up on us.
He has called all His heralds to the same business: “buildiing up” (2 Corinthians 10:8; 13:10). His children must also join in the trade of “building up” (Ephesians 4:29, 1 Corinthians 14:12). Instead of tearing our faith down, He actually wants us to build our lives on the foundation of our holy faith (Jude 20, NLT). Since faith comes by hearing and hearing the Word of Christ, so we need to turn to the Word for the building to be possible. Thanks to all of you who have built me up: former teachers, friends, family, and fans. I include “fans” because some of you are just too nice to me and I am humbled by your kindness. Thanks to all of you who have partnered with us in building a new community, a new nation, a new generation of people whose values are rooted in Christ and influenced by Christ. These people are kids in junior church and the kindergarten. They are the students of the schools, the Bible College, the vocational school. They are the Church members. They are even the seemingly intolerable kids who will spend the whole day, till late evening on campus playing, and playing, and playing. They are the kids who live in a remote place in the mountains of Haiti. They are the former witch doctors, the big voodoo worshippers. They are the ones who were chosen by the enemy to be his servants and now they are serving the King of kings. Brothers, sisters, and partners in the gospel, let us continue engaging in “the building up” business.
While we are building people, it is logical that we build facilities to facilitate our tasks. Thanks for sacrificing your hard earned dollars to make these tools available to build people. Chances are, you will meet them for the first time in that city whose architect and builder is Christ.
We are getting closer and closer to finishing the church building. We will move in on December 20th this year. We want you to continue to partner with us to make this possible. Remember I told you that we need chairs. Help us with that. Another thing that we need is musical instruments for both the school and the church use. They don’t have to be new. So please if you have an instrument and are willing to donate it, please let us know. We have a bus which will be shipped to Haiti at the end of next month. It is an ideal occasion to send them to Haiti.May the Lord continue to use us to build one another.
In Christ,
Salonique Adolphe and team
