Computer class expansion
The third entity is the professional school: Professional and Technical Studies Center of the Caribbean. This branch of the ministry began in the fall of 2005. Its purpose is to train young men and women to have a profession. Consequently they will be able to have a job, which in turn will help them to help themselves and help others. We have already trained over 300 students.
We have been training students in Computer Applications. We have the willingness to add other branches, but funds and facilities remain a challenge for us.
We also have a small farm that we operate. It is about ten (10) acres but the hurricanes have caused major damage to the soil and irrigation has become more and more difficult. However, the farm helps us by providing vegetables for the school cafeteria. We are now feeding about 900 people daily.
