Small Group Meeting at New Church Plant Site for PrayerLiving Water update

Greetings to you in His name!

My six weeks in the States were a joy. They were all full of God’s blessings. I have to admit that I was getting tired at the end. I wondered how dad and mom felt, but it appeared that dad and I were more tired than mom. We made it. I thank mom and dad Green for their sacrifices in driving me to everywhere that I had in my schedule.

I had a blast with the brothers and sisters at Living Spring in Pevely, MO. May God bless brother Kirk and his congregation there. Thanks to the Ide’s family for hosting us during our stay there. I also thank God for Doug and Kristy Delp and all of those who worked hard to make my last meeting (May 20th in the evening) a success.

Brothers and sisters offering Praises to Jesus I received a hearty warm welcome upon my arrival in Haiti. People seem to think there is still a place for me to fill at Living Water. I thank God for my people and for all the leaders of Living Water. They work hard and face big challenges on a daily basis. We pray that the Lord will continue to be with them and make them over-comers.

Many of them were sick. Jean Gilles was in church this morning. Jude was not able to make it. Gracia seems to be getting over the hump. Luckner has been able to go back to the classrooms. Every one of these guys were, or are, battling some kind of sickness. We pray for continuous progress for all of them.

Since I returned work on the White Mountain Church plant has resumed. This week they were working on the roof for the caretaker’s housing. Right after that they will be moving onto the roof of the church.

Stuccoing or Plastering on the Second Floor Before resuming the work we had an all small groups prayer meeting there. About 150 people showed up for the prayers. We filled two buses with people plus a couple cars. We had a nice service there. After the service several people said they just cannot wait. Some even commented that the church building is too small. It will be filled in a heart beat. We will be glad to welcome such problem.

Work also continues on the health clinic. The third picture can give you an idea of what is being done and what we still need to do. They should finish the plastering of the inside of the second floor by mid-week. This way the crew which is coming from Cincinnati (Mount Carmel Christian Church) will be able to do the wiring, plumbing and painting as we have anticipated.

A lot of work has been done on the radio station project this past week. Micah spent four straight days in Port-au-Prince in order to complete and organize all the papers that are required before we got the license to operate the radio. He has successfully done that. All the related government offices which deal with radio stations have our papers with them now. We are supposed to hear from them this week. We hope to actually hear from them. Pray for a positive response for them as well.

In the meantime, other things that need to be done on that project will be tackled in the next few days. Pray for funds so we can buy the equipment and build the studio. Pray that God removes all the mountains that will be in front of us in the process of finishing this project.

I am writing tonight from Port-au-Prince. My sister Bea has an appointment with the US embassy tomorrow morning. We pray for a positive response so she can go to study at Central Christian College of the Bible next fall.

Thanks for your prayers. Thanks for your financial supports. Thanks for your encouragement. Thanks for your love for us and for Haiti. May God bless you abundantly.

In Christ,

Salonique Adolphe and team
