Our Most Recent Missions Team in Worship with their Haitian Brothers and Sisters Time to Pray

Dear brothers and sisters,

Greetings to all of you in the name of Jesus!

God has blessed us with another excellent week. We praise Him for sending a wonderful team composed of members of different churches in the Cincinnati area under the leadership of Mount Carmel Christian Church. The team included young people, adults, men and women. The team was composed of Rachel, Sarah, Jack, Chris (missions minister at Mount Carmel as the leader of the team), Leslie, Randy, Debra, Allen, Ken, Tim, and Gene. Ken Boatright, Allen Burk and Randy Carroll have been with us on several occasions. The rest of the team were with us for the first time.

Older Students Eating Rice and Beans at the Cafeteria They did a lot of work. They wired the health clinic building. They did all that was needed to be done on the second floor. The stucco work is not completed in the first floor, so they did as much as was possible to do. They painted the inside of the cafeteria, which was something high on my wife’s priority list. My wife Gine feels overly blessed by the team. They not only did the work, but also purchased all that was needed: wire, electrical fixtures, paint, etc.

We thank every member of the team and their churches. We thank spouses and parents who sent them. We also thank their friends, and people who sponsored their trips. We pray that we were even in the smallest of measure a blessing to them as well. They gave much. I pray that they will gain much from God because of what they have done.

It is time to pray for our students as they begin taking their finals so that they can concentrate in their learning and they can pass their tests. It is time to pray for all of those who are going to take government tests. Two of mine will be taken government tests as well.

It is time to pray for the decisions that we are going to make for the next school year. They are lots of changes to make, necessary changes. As you are all aware changes are necessary sometimes, but they also make some people unhappy. Pray that we will make decisions for the best of Living Water.

It is time to pray for our leadership because Satan is working hard to spread dissension. There is not necessarily a volcano, but enough to destroy the chemistry that we have enjoyed for years. Please pray for our spiritual health. The Lord warned that we are not battling against flesh and blood, but against Satan (abbreviated version). But it seems that we often understand God to say that we are battling “against our brothers and sisters in order to look better than them.” People, whoever they are, are not our real enemy. We would do good to remember that.

It is time to pray for our members. Many of them are sliding very fast toward “Apathy Square.” Many of them want to take residence there. Now we don’t have as many demon possession cases as we used to have some have taken vacations in their prayer life. I myself may not be an exception. So please pray for me as well and for the decisions that I am making on a daily basis.

It is time to pray for the progress of the radio station.

It is time to pray for the new church plant which we will launch at the end of July.
The well at the health clinic was supposed to start last Wednesday. It was rescheduled for today, I hope they show up to start drilling.

It is time to pray that God will give financial means to our supporters, so that giving can be up instead of down.

We want you to know that we are praying for you as well. We love you very much. We appreciate your partnership with us in the gospel. Your selflessness bring many more children in the family of God. So rejoice!!!

In Christ,

Salonique Adolphe and team
