He Deserves Our Praises!!!

Dear brothers and sisters,

In my culture Christians and non-Christians alike recognize it is a gift from God to be able to see the first day of a new year. In fact, it is common for many people to die a few minutes before the first of the year. So January first always brings joy to the faces of people. Yet there is mourning as well for those who passed away in the last days or minutes. So we are all happy to breathe God’s air on January first 2013. For that He deserves our praises.

We praise Our God here for His bountiful blessings toward us. It is a wonderful thing to serve The Creator God! All Powerful. All Knowing. The Omnipresent God. Loving. Caring. Purging (This one hurts).

We praise Him because each month He has provided so that we can pay the salaries of our employees. He has provided for the construction of the health clinic. It is sometimes beyond my grasp to understand such love for us.

He has provided for our schools and kept us on the list of the best schools in town. He has given us the privilege of bringing to Him many news sons and daughters whether it is at Marmelade, White Mountain or here in our first church.

He has provided food to feed the students and adults of the school every day. He has provided for the other construction that we have going on, like the construction of the Guest House. He has provided vehicles for transportation of people, buildings supplies and others.

He has amazed us this year with the growth of the church in Marmelade and at White Mountain. Our “baby church” who is less than five months old already has a choir of its own. Those new believers have something to teach those of us who have grown to be too familiar with Jesus to the point of taking Him lightly.

I am amazed at the way He has provided for the construction of the church building at White Mountain, the well and all the other things taking place there. 

He certainly deserves our praises.

I praise my God for the multiple ways that He has used you to further His cause here. I am humble to have you as brothers and sisters and as partners in ministry. You give me more reasons to praise Him. 

For this year, please team up with us to realize those projects:

1. The radio station
2. The construction of the school building for Marmelade
3. The launching of the school at White Mountain
4. The construction of the church building that we have been talking about for years now.

Please pray for both the physical and the spiritual health of our leadership. Both are necessary to continue to impact Haiti for Christ.
