Pass it on!!!

Dear brothers and sisters,

Greetings to all of you in the name of Our Lord and Savior: JESUS!

There are things in life that we all dream could be passed on to us, or better yet, will be passed on to us. We all would like to be the recipients of our parents good genes so we could live long, look good, and stay healthy. We would not mind being the recipients of the estate of some distant relative, parent or friend. We, in turn, have things that we would like to be able to pass on to some specific people. We are tied with them one way or another.

Many Christian parents and grandparents would give the world to be able to pass on their faith to their children and grandchildren. We feel great when we are convinced there is no doubt that the deal is sealed, the job is done. When we know that son, daughter, grandson or granddaughter is a diehard Christian we feel complete. Unfortunately, many times we meet with heartaches and deception. Yet, what matters is doing and giving your very best to pass it on!

Lois and Eunice must have felt great for being successful in passing on their faith to Timothy (2 Timothy 1:5). Those of us who are in the race and are fighting to pass their faith on, please don’t quit. Keep striving, for that is the single most important assurance you want to have when you are leaving this earth. When you are on your way to heaven you want to know that those whom you love the most will meet you there.

Thus pass it on! Pass it on to everyone you meet. Pass it on to everyone you love. Pass it on to everyone that does not deserve your love, but needs your grace. Pass it on like the crazy farmer that Jesus describes in the parable of the soils (MT 13).

At Living Water we are engaged in the “pass it on” business. We want to pass on, not just our faith, but also knowledge that will facilitate the task of passing it on.

We have been blessed by teachers like Georges and Rosemond who are engaging in passing on their knowledge to our vocational students. They are passing on their faith to some of the students. A number of faithful Christians we have now met with Jesus as a student at our vocational school. We praise God for that.

In our effort to improve every area of our ministry we have had the privilege of being blessed by Alicia Stamp. She is a top notch accountant who works with organizations literally all over the world. She came to pass on some of her knowledge to our new accountant: Jocelin Milfort. For three straight days she worked tirelessly with Jocelin, helped by Joanes (left in the second picture), to pass on her knowledge and skills to Jocelin.

We also had the blessings of having Paul Green and Rick Rios of Anchorage, Alaska (Faith Christian Community) to give Leadership Training to our men and women. This is Paul’s third seminar for them. They are passing it on! Rick and Paul did a fabulous job and we thank them, their family and their Church family.

Let us join the effort of “pass it on” to foster the growth of the Kingdom. Whatever you can do, pass it on for the sake of others.

Pass it on!! (2Timothy 2:2).

In Christ,

Salonique Adolphe
