Dear brothers and sisters,
Greetings to all of you in HIS name!
Last week was full of challenges and cherished moments. I had four meetings with teachers and staff from Wednesday thru Saturday. One of them lasted almost 5 hours. It was the time to review salaries, and those meetings tend to give me headaches. Many tough decisions have been taken by faith, praying that the Lord will provide for our needs. It is a given: growth is pricey.
Last Tuesday over 150 brothers and sisters met to pray over the spot where the church will be built. Friday morning about 25 of us came back for the actual launching of the building early in the morning. It was a Spirit-filled morning. We had the privilege of looking back to see what God has done with that property and how He has established His power, His might and how He has assured our victory. This has given us another shot of spiritual energy knowing that He will see us through this building project as well. So by faith, in 2014 we will have a brand new church building in which to worship.
One brother asked last night if we will be able to celebrate our 11th anniversary in the building. Well my answer was, it will depend on God, you and me. We don’t have a fixed date to move into the building. We trust that God will provide in such a way we won’t have any dull moments in the execution of the project. So we are moving as if all the funds were already in place.
Brothers, sisters, partners and friends let us continue to team up together to get this project done in the name of Jesus. “Not by might, nor by power, but by my Spirit, says the Lord almighty” (Zechariah 4:6).I have included four photos. The first one was taken during the worship service last Sunday and the rest are concerning the prayers and praising of God as we were planning breaking ground on the project.
Your brother in Christ,
Salonique Adolphe
