Another big surprise

Dear brothers and sisters,
It was a surprise to me when Living Water people undertook the challenge of cleaning the Junior worship center last week. It was wonderful to see it completed. Yesterday we were able to worship in it.
This morning they tackled a bigger challenge to clean the adult worship center. This is a fairly long building. For those of you who like precision it is 110 feet long and 20 feet wide. In case you math lovers want to practice, this area was covered in about 2 feet of mud. You do the math. Well, they cleaned it in one day. When they started there were only four people: two women and two men. By the time they finished they had a crew of more than 40 people. Some used a shovel to move the mud. Others used a rake-like tool to drag it to the door. Still others carried buckets of water to dilute the mud so that they could clean it up. By the time it was 4:40 PM they were done. I am proud of them. I told them yesterday that I am glad to be a preacher in a Church like that. We unite, work and do things which seem impossible.

Praise God for tireless workers. Praise God for people who are not afraid to sacrifice their time and energy in HIS service. Let us continue to serve Him in all the ways we can.
