Praise and prayer request

Dear brothers and sisters,

Greetings to you all in the name of Our Great God and our Savior Jesus Christ.

We thank all of you for your many prayers addressed on our behalf to the Father. Oh, we need them. We need them very much.

As we continue to grow the challenges are growing. The attacks of the enemy do not diminish by any stretch of the imagination. But with your prayers we will continue to be victorious.

We praise God for opening our second elementary school in Marmelade. We have about 30 students registered for 1st and 2nd grade. We will open other grades next year, but will start with two this year.

Here in Gonaives, we have about 550 students. Yesterday, we had 528 students. The flu epidemic kept many students and teachers at home. Some are even seriously ill at the hospital.

We praise God for brother Habacuc who started his university studies a few weeks ago. He is studying music with the hope of becoming a high caliber music minister.

My brother Dan is transfering to Cap Haitian this coming week for his social service as a medical doctor.

Also we have praise because this past week the education ministry sent us 37 diplomas for the students of our vocational school who passed the government exams. They have another 10 diplomas to give us. We are planning a graduation service in December.

We thank God for our brother and sisters in Kenai, AK. These brothers and sisters have donated almost 8,000 dollars so that we can purchase three stoves and propane tanks for the school cafeteria. What a blessing that is! We are planning to buy these things early next week.

We ask your prayers for brother Ezechiel. He is our minister at Marmelade. His wife and he were expected a son, but he passed away before he was even born. After several weeks, Josiane, the wife of Ezechiel, is finding it difficult to accept the situation. Pray for them.

Pray also for Widgenise, Jasmine, Naicah and several other students of the school who are seriously ill. They all have either been in the hospital or are still there. Jasmine is still in the hospital. Her situation is critical. What started as a fever became more and more complicated. Yesterday they had to do a blood transfusion to keep her alive.

My sons Ben and Esly are not doing well. Ben couldn’t even make it to school for two days in a row.

Pray for them

Pray for them

Please pray for the medical clinic. We desperately need it. We will need a building, equipment, doctors, nurses and other personnel to make it the way we would like. Pray that God will stir people’s hearts to make this project theirs. Pray for Gayle Bennett in that line as well.

Please pray for more space for the cafeteria. In the past we could feed the elementary students and then the high school. Now we cannot even feed the high school in one setting.

Thanks to all of you who give to Living Water. You can not imagine the impact you are making. May God shower His blessings on you for our sake.

In Him,

Salonique Adolphe
