Glory is to HIM alone!!!

Dear brothers and sisters,

It has been three weeks since you received any update from us. The late Grandma Ethal is right: “No news is good news.” In fact, we could have said, “No news is great news!” Lots of wonderful things have happen in the last three weeks.

Here at Living Water, we closed 2011 with a Spirit-filled evaluation meeting. We all agreed that the Lord has been very good to Living Water in 2011. We all praise God for the great things He has done in different members of our congregations and in the different leaders. We praised Him and continue to do so for the number of young men and women who are emerging leaders in different capacities.

We also agreed on the priorities for 2012. We surrender our will to His. We praise Him for all those who served His people in 2011 at Living Water. One of the greatest blessings of God in 2011 was the cells (the small groups). Some of them are not so small.

We have a lot of fun with our brothers and sisters from the States who visit with us and we continue to have much fun. Our first group came from Missouri and was led by the servant of God, Fred J. Green. What a blessing this team was! What a time we had together.

This group included Paul Parrish, one of my heroes, Rae Linn, Rick (from Mount Vernon Christian Church) and David and Laurie Sears, Fran Burton, and dad and mom Fred and Jan Green. Every place we visited inspired us in different ways and gave us different reasons to praise God. The man of God, Fred Green, taught a two-day seminar and preached on Sunday among other things.

On Sunday we worshiped together (photo 2) and on Monday we had a blessed celebration of the 18 years of service of servants of God, Fred and Jan Green, and the 17 years of service of Paul Parrish to Haiti. A lot of the old-timers were there for the event. We wish you could have been there. We praise God for sending these people to Haiti to impact the people of the country and consequently the country for Jesus.

During the service I was thanking God for His servant, Reggie Thomas, who is like the energizer bunny and won’t quit. What a role model he is! This man has a love for little ones in Haiti. He was used by God to raise many men and women who are now in the service of the Lord in different capacities all over Haiti.

We also thank God for the progress on the health clinic. Once concrete is poured in the top beam we will move straight to the roofing process. Praise God with us for His selfless people who continue to give to facilitate the progress of the construction.

Can't Wait for their Turn to Express their Gratitude

The fun continues because as I am concluding this message 13 men and women of God are in devotion. I am sure they will find reasons to praise God for what He has done today. They are all from Bridgetown Church of Christ, Cincinnati Ohio. They come to serve.

Let us raise our voice to give Him all the glory and honor there is.

Yours because He lives,

Salonique Adolphe
