I praise God because HE spared us from the worst. We have between 1 and 3 feet of water in most parts of the city. Some places are very lucky and don’t get it. At Living Water campus we had water, but now it is all gone. The water did not enter the buildings, except the first one. It has about a foot and half of water in it. Some people had up to three feet, but not us.
In our home it came very close to entering, but an inch or two footer higher than the water prevented the water.
I don’t know for sure if there were people who died, though I heard the rumor that there is death in town from the flood. I kind of doubt that because people were very cautious, but you never know. I will keep you posted.
Again praise be to God for sparing us from the worst like in 2004, 2008.
