Happy Resurrection Sunday!!!

Dear brothers and sisters,

Greetings to all of you in the name of the Resurrected One.

I love Bethlehem.  I love the defeat or the failure of the enemy at Bethlehem. When he was using his servant Herod the Great to carry out his plans in getting rid of baby Jesus, well He was snatched away from him and took refuge in the most unlikely place: Egypt. Only God could have done that.

I love Bethlehem because to have Golgotha, Bethlehem was necessary. Bethlehem has her own lessons for the believers. Yet nothing like the news “He is risen.” Nothing like that. It is a miracle. It is a victory for Our God and for us and it is a defeat for the enemy. Nothing could have prevented Him from resurrecting. The forces of darkness could not. The Roman/Jewish Guard could not. The religious leaders could not. Yes, He is risen!!! That is the greatest of all news.

During the first quarter of 2015 no less than 50 missionaries have visited Living Water. They came as a result of what happened that Easter Morning. It brought about a new era, a new hope, a new motivation, and a new way of thinking.

Professor Chad started it all, followed by Tom and Craig. These guys did cabinet work, preaching, and construction. They were followed by our brothers and sisters from Oklahoma. They did a lot. Part of the team was medical and they saw hundreds of patients in three locations. They worked in construction, taught students of the Bible College (Doc Sharp) and preached in two different Churches.

They were followed by our brothers and sisters from Forum Christian Church who impacted Living Water big while they were here and even more so after they left. Then came brother Todd who taught a few young people about video production. They had too much fun, I think.

Then came IAMM medical team. These 12 people served over 1,000 people during their stay. Immediately after that we had the team from Vandalia. They painted, worked in construction, gardening, electrical wiring, teaching and preaching. Again their actual work has gone beyond what they were actually able to do.

Then came the team from Central Christian College of the Bible. Like the other teams they did so much in a short time and worked to further the progress of living Water. They did a lot of painting. Brother Brian was able to teach only for a couple of days because of an unfortunate situation. Praise Jesus for what they were able to do.

I am sure that all these teams did what they did because of One Man. Just a few days after His resurrection He gave them a charge, “Go”. We are now learning more and more that there are a lot of things we can do: to bring more people into the flock; to make the work of the herald easier and to create better space for those who are responding to the call.

At Living Water we are grateful to all our partners. We thank God because of them. We are anticipating the arrival of three teams in April. We ask you to pray for them as they will be serving The only One who deserves our service, thus our Worship: Jesus!

We have been having a great week of worshiping, praying, fasting, preaching and teaching about The event. We pray for a great service on The Resurrection Sunday. We pray the same for you too. Please pray for one of our brothers and teammates Paul Green for the healing of the cancerous eye. Our God is able.

Yours because He lives,

Salonique Adolphe and team
