The Mightiest of the mighty

Dear brothers and sisters,

Greetings to each one of you in the name of Jesus, Our Savior, and Our Lord!

January has just ended. Many of our new year resolutions taken early in January have already fallen through the cracks of our busy lives, and others we continue to work on. I pray that you will find God as the mightiest of the mighty in your lives throughout this year.

It has been years since we had a pending project, which is the construction of the Church of Marotte, where brother Lucma will be leading. Our path has had plenty of obstacles, but our mighty God has given us victory over the spiritual war. Now it is time to rise up, collect the necessary funds (300,000 USD), and continue with the building process. Many things have changed for the best in the project, except for the price of building supplies. They are sky high. Consequently, the construction will be a much more expensive one because of the conception of a two-story building with classrooms on the first floor. Please let us join our dimes and dollars together so that we can build the new church at the soonest possible time.

Besides the church plant, we aim to multiply our evangelistic efforts and extend them to other departments, such as the Central Department and Northern Department. Departments are comparable to States when one thinks about the Union. We hope to hold these campaigns during the summer months. I pray that the security conditions will not stand in our way.

It seems like only yesterday that I left Cincinnati Christian University to return “for good,” as the people said, in Haiti. The calendar says that it has already been twenty years. During those years, God has proven over and over to be the Mightiest of the mighty. He has given us many victories. Salvation in Christ to many lives. Restoration of broken lives. Restoration of people’s physical health, including eyesight. Freedom from demonic influence. Safety in a very unsafe environment. Bountiful and miraculous provisions. Education to thousands. Four Churches. Four schools. One health clinic. One vocational school. Now, one university. Many prayer-partners. Many generous supporters. Hundreds of thousands of meals served. Many distributions of food, shoes, clothes, and school supplies. The only plausible explanation for our existence to the people of faith is that Our God is All powerful. He has been very busy.

I am pretty sure that you have discovered that we have not attempted to arrange our list in an orderly fashion. We just list things. We could continue to list many more things.

During those twenty years, many of our partners and teammates have taken residence in heaven. My adoptive parents Fred and Jan Green are among them. I have many other names that I could list, but I don’t want to sadden too many of you with my list.

As we are celebrating twenty years of ministry together, The special celebration is on February 5th. Would you consider giving a special gift of 20 dollars, or 200, or 2000, or any amount that God has put in your heart to Living Water? These funds will go to the construction of the Church of Marotte. If you so choose to gear your donation to a different project, we have no problem with that, except there is urgency to build this Church to be engaged in rescuing more lives for Christ.

I want you to know that brother Derald Ailes, Minister of Iroquois Valley Christian Church (IVCC) in Indiana and the leadership there have taken the lead in the initiative of raising funds for the projects of Living Water at the occasion of the twentieth anniversary of the ministry. Let us join them in this endeavor. God will reward each one of you.

Our mighty God has launched Fred Joseph Green Elementary and High School and Caribbean Christian University. We are multiplying our efforts to launch the orphanage soon. We must learn to move forward in the midst of the social and political violence that is in Haiti because the end of the situation is not humanly in view. The advantage that we have is our God is the mightiest of the mighty, He will continue to protect us and to provide for us.

Another wonderful news is that today, God has answered our prayers. I am approved for the visa to be renewed. I will have the passport back within one to two weeks. Soon, I will be able to see many of you!

Thanks to all of you who have been faithfully supporting Living Water Christian Mission during those years. May God bless you and yours as we continue to work together for His glory!

In Him,

Salonique Adolphe and team
