What did they do?

Dear brothers and sisters,

Before saying anything, let me greet all of you in the name of the KING of kings! I am amazed by HIS love and I am also afraid that we do not take HIS warnings serious enough.

One of the typical questions that I have often received after having a group working at Living Water is “What did they do?” I could just say “They worked”. I am sure that answer would not be satisfactory and it would be followed by something like, “Well what actually did they do?” I am answering.

The thirteen men came from three Churches in the States of Ohio namely: Miamitown Church of Christ, Mount Carmel Christian Church and Bright Christian Church. They seem to have well represented the 13 apostles of the New Testament including Mathias and Paul. First, they preached the Good News. Joby Anders preached a challenging message on Sunday. If we live by it we will go out daily to win others for the Son.

They did every electrical work possible in my house including working on the power line out in the street to ensure that I received normal voltage. This was a serious problem for us. We did not know where the problem was but Mark Nakoff and his teamates found it and now the problem is solved. Praise God!

It was a team of multiple talented men. We had brother Ken Boatright teaching Jude how to draw his plans for our buildings on the computer. Jude enjoyed that.

Since the first computer lab we had was too small we are enlarging it. The team worked on wiring the computer lab. I think it is all ready now. Once the electrical work was done Jude’s team laid the tiles Saturday. Today they were painting it and the glass windows were already in place. So it should be in use sometime this week. Praise God!

Some of the 13 men laid the tiles in the dining room of the cafeteria and did the wiring in the cafeteria as well. They worshiped with us for the 6th anniversary. They visited each of our campuses and prayed on them. They visited Jolimet, our neighboring village that is forgotten by government people. We have been working to reach out to Jolimet for 6 years now. We are on the right path to win them for Christ. The 13 men did so many more things that saying just these few things seems to oversimplify what they did.

They did everything for His glory. They provided every dollar we needed to do all these things. They donated extra money to Living Water. They blessed brother Micah and his families in multiple ways. They blessed my family by providing the wires, the lamps and every single thing they did on my house, they even gave some money for the family.

Thanks to Joby Anders, Ken Croll, Ken Boatright Sr, Todd Shaw, Logan Borntrager, Frank Henegar, Larry Cramer, Terry West, Dan Coy, Mark Nakoff, Alan Burck, Randy Schuman and brother Walt Rolfes. May God bless you all. Living Water is able to take giant steps through your selfless acts of generosity. We love you. Please come back!!! We thank your generous wives, families and friends who let you come to help us out.
