Conquerors

Dear brothers and sisters,

I pray that you had a great Lord’s day yesterday and that all of you are doing very well. We had a great Lord’s day here. Yesterday was the second Sunday with our two services. We had 262 people in the first service and 82 in the second service. The Junior worship had 132.

Yesterday we saw the benefit of having two services with Sunday school in the middle. It definitely helps to have more people in Sunday school here. Praise God for that. The conquerors of Living Water came up with the idea and now it is a reality. Praise God!

“You are not going to the “dedication service” like that, said my wife last night. Well, I thought I could get by after shaving my 10 day old beard. That was not enough for her. So, it was 8:30 last night when I went to my barber for a haircut. Luckily he was still open. Then I was told to wear a suit and tie. My response, “Yes mam.” So, I wore a suit and tie.

You know, she was right to get me ready for a Spirit-filled dedication service with encouraging speeches from our principals and over 400 gleaming students with eyes filled with hope. My heart was filled with joy.

They are the future conquerors for Haiti. They are the ones who will turn this nation to the Lord. They are the ones who will do what the older generation did not do and what my generation is not doing. Thanks to all of you who make their education possible. You cannot grasp the impact that you are making in Haiti.

Thanks to all who contributed for the Bobcat. We now have it. We have been busy with with it since day one. Brother Bill and Tim were rightfully frustrated because they could not get the Bobcat ontime to work. Well, God will use the failure of our system for His glory somehow.

In the last picture, you will see our elementary teachers. They are on a conquest. They will conquer the heart and the head of their students for Christ. Please pray for them and their families.

The professor on the far left is brother Jean (John) Marc of Trousable Church. He is a 6th grade teacher of great caliber. He joins us this year. We are glad to have him on board. He is replacing our new principal of the elementary school who was on staff as teacher for all the 6 years of our existence.

Pray for us. We love you and we thank you.
