To Impact

Dear Teammates,

As I am greeting you in the name of Jesus I hope that you were able to make it to Church yesterday and had as good a time as I did in worship.

This Summer there is not a dull moment around here. The weather is hot. Some days unbearably hot, and the fact that it has not rained in weeks makes it a little more challenging. I even lost my garden without harvesting anything. I am still hoping for some rain so I can bring it back to life. I do have another alternative now since the medical clinic has just received the gift of brand new diesel generator, it will help me by pumping water to the garden as well.

One of the best activities of this Summer is the English class. We have classes with very young children from first grade to 5th grade. We also have a group which includes only teenagers and we have two adult groups. We launched this activity the first week of July. We had Jeana Clocksin, a young prodigy of 17 years old, come to take the program off the ground. She did an excellent job.

Jeana is a born teacher. She is an extremely smart girl. She speaks French amazingly well. She relates well with both young and old. She makes teaching fun and all her students are enamored with her. She left but the classes continue. We cannot do as good of a job as she did, but we are doing the best we can. These classes are preparing a better future for many.

Thanks to IAMM and the Brewers, the health clinic now has a generator. So gone are the days of frustration for Chernite and Dr. Dan because of electricity problems to do their work. We thank IAMM for such a thoughtful gift, and we praise God for such an organization. This generator will contribute to saving lives.

Campers Watching a Movie

Campers Watching a Movie

As I am writing the campus is full of the noise of children having fun. It is the continuation of the Summer Camp that we are having. We have it because one church decided to feed the kids here. So we decided then to feed both body and souls. We hope in a few years, or decades, we can hear the end of the story. Perhaps adults who will be telling what those two months of camp meant to them. Pray for a good harvest.

White Mountain celebrated their first anniversary last night in a Spirit-filled worship. We hope to share more about that in our next article. Continue to pray, please, for the construction of the church building. We thank all of you who have already contributed to this project. May God bless you for us.

Let us continue, as a team, to impact people together for Christ.

In Him,

Salonique Adolphe and team
